It all started when…

This design is for a new public library in St. Louis, overseen by Patty Heyda in 2019. St. Louis' public library system, established in 1865, has 17 branches. However, certain areas, particularly in the city's north, require more libraries. The new branch, located in the 63106 area, aims to provide a community-friendly space. Its design includes a well-scaled 'urban living room' for gatherings, featuring an accessible courtyard with amenities, ensuring a perfect balance of public space.
